Mitsubishi FREQUPS FW-V series discontinued – battery & replacement guide
Mitsubishi Electric has discontinued the FREQUPS FW-V series, and manufacturer repair / parts support ended in May 2026. Some FW-VBT batteries are still available while stocks last; after that, the FW-S series is the replacement path.

- FW-S series (online double-conversion, sine wave) accepts AC85–144V input with 100–120V selectable output, so it can be used directly in 110–120V countries.
- For 200V sites, combine an FW-S UPS with the FW-STR transformer unit (input AC185–260V).
- FW-SBT batteries do not fit FW-V units — please do not order them for an FW-V UPS.
- Current FREQUPS models are Japanese domestic versions without UL/CE marks.
