This Privacy Policy explains how Asunite Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us"), operator of Asunite Store Japan (store.asunite.net), collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit the store or buy from us.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you give us: name, company name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, order details, and anything you write in messages or quote requests.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by Shopify Payments and other payment providers shown at checkout. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and similar data, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use it

We use this information to process and ship orders, prepare export and customs documents, answer inquiries, prevent fraud, meet legal and tax obligations, and improve our store. With your consent, or where the law allows, we may also send you information about our products. You can opt out at any time.

3. Sharing

We share personal information only as needed with:

  • Shopify, which hosts our store
  • payment providers
  • shipping carriers (e.g. FedEx, Japan Post) and customs authorities
  • analytics and advertising providers such as Google, where you have consented to cookies
  • authorities, where required by law

We do not sell personal information.

4. Cookies

We use cookies that the store needs to work (for example, for the cart and checkout) and, where permitted, cookies for analytics and advertising. You can control cookies in your browser settings and through the store's cookie banner where shown.

5. International transfers

We are based in Japan, and our service providers may process data in other countries. We take reasonable steps so that your information stays protected in line with this policy and applicable law, including Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information and, where applicable, the EU/UK GDPR.

6. Retention

We keep order records for as long as required by Japanese tax and export laws (generally 7 years). We keep other information only as long as we need it for the purposes above.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, or to object to its use. To make a request, email sales@asunite.net.

8. Children

Our store is for business and professional buyers and is not directed at children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
