International Shipping & Tax Policy
1. Standard Trade Terms (Incoterms)
Unless explicitly agreed upon in writing prior to shipment, all international orders from ASUNITE TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. are conducted under the following Incoterms® 2020:
- CFR (Cost and Freight)
- CPT (Carriage Paid To)
- DAP (Delivered at Place)
2. Buyer Responsibility for Import Charges
Under these terms, the seller (ASUNITE TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.) is responsible for the costs of transport to the destination country. However, the Buyer (Recipient) is the sole Importer of Record and is responsible for:
- Import Duties & Customs Taxes: Any fees levied by the destination country’s government.
- Value Added Tax (VAT) / Goods and Services Tax (GST): Any local consumption taxes.
- Brokerage & Disbursement Fees: Any administrative fees charged by the carrier (e.g., FedEx, DHL, UPS) for customs clearance processing.
3. Refusal of Payment
ASUNITE TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. will not cover, reimburse, or be held liable for any import-side taxes or fees.
- If a shipment is returned to us because the buyer refuses to pay import duties, the buyer remains responsible for the original shipping costs and any return freight charges incurred.
- Acceptance of the goods from the carrier constitutes an agreement by the buyer to settle all associated government and carrier tax invoices.
Where We Ship & How Do We Ship
Asunite Technology Co., Ltd. is pleased to provide domestic and international shipping options.
Asunite Technology Co., Ltd. offers shipping to all USA states, territories, and even APO/FPO addresses. All orders must be shipped to a valid, physical address. We do not support shipping to P.O. Boxes at this time.
All products will be shipped by FedEx, OCS, or Japan Post (EMS).
Processing
We process orders during our normal business hours. Unless otherwise stated, please allow 1 to 3 business days for us to process your order.
We make every effort to fulfill orders as quickly as possible. If we are experiencing longer than usual processing times, we will notify you either on our site or by email.
Shipping Rates & Timing
The shipping charge will be calculated and displayed during checkout. An estimate of the time it takes to deliver your order will be provided on our website. Please remember that processing time is separate from shipping/delivery time.
Shipping Promotions
We occasionally offer shipping promotions, which may include free or discounted shipping. Please be aware that these offers are often temporary or conditional and may not apply to returns. See our Return Policy for further information.
